Manufacturing Process
Step 1
A stable precision frame and a polished plate guarantee the future dimensions and smooth surface of the tiles
Step 2
For each motif there is a metal template which divides the various colour zones from each other. This metal template is placed in the precision frame
Step 3
The individual fields are filled with a pasty mixture of marble dust, mineral granulate and pigments
Step 4
The metal template is carefully removed. This produces the typical soft transitions between the zones of the decor
Step 5
The tile pattern is now ready and is carefully inspected once more
Step 6
The coloured top layer of the tile is now quickly covered with almost-dry mortar
Step 7
The stamp is placed on it and the tile is then hydraulically pressed under great pressure
Step 8
The stamp and the frame are removed, the tile is carefully released from the mould. The tiles are then stored for the cement to dry and harden
